Our Foundation

Brienne Birth Services was founded by Taylor Dawn Cole in 2022. She started her journey as a birth worker in fall of 2020, during which time there were a few women who poured into and supported her in her journey. One of those women was a strong and much loved wife, mother, and friend who brought joy to everyone around her; Brienne. In spring of 2021, shortly after the birth of her 7th child, Brienne passed away for unknown reasons. She had dreamed of being a doula or midwife herself but had set that aside for the greater task of motherhood, dedicating her life to raising her own little ones. During the early steps of Taylor's journey towards birth work, Brienne encouraged, told her own birth stories, and supported Taylor's dream as if it were her own. In honor and loving memory of this amazing woman, Taylor named her business Brienne Birth Services.
